Returns & Refunds Policy

At Solvei Jewellery, each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in small batches. Because of the nature of our work, please read the following policy carefully before purchasing.

Change of Mind

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.

This includes:

  • Preference changes after purchase

  • Personal style or colour preferences

Please ensure all details are correct before placing your order. If you have any questions prior to purchasing, we’re always happy to help.

Gifts & Store Credit

If an item was purchased as a gift and is not quite right, we may offer a store credit at our discretion, provided that:

  • The item is unworn and in original condition

  • The request is made within 14 days of delivery

  • The piece is not custom-made or personalised

Store credit:

  • Is valid for 12 months

  • Is non-refundable

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash

Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces

All custom, bespoke, or made-to-order pieces are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or store credit, unless the item is deemed faulty under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

This includes:

  • Custom ring sizes

  • Custom stone selections

  • Personalised or one-off designs

Faulty Items & Repairs

We take great care in creating jewellery that is made to last. If your piece is faulty due to workmanship or materials, please contact us as soon as possible.

If the fault is deemed to be our responsibility:

  • We will repair the item at no cost, or

  • Offer a replacement or appropriate remedy in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ)

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or damage caused by improper care is not considered a fault.

How to Request a Repair or Credit

Please email solveijewellery@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photos where applicable

We will assess your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
